Facial Rejuvenation

Advanced Facial Rejuvenation Solutions

Most of us at one time or another have looked in the mirror and been bothered by something we see: wrinkles where the skin was once smooth, sagging where our features used to be well-defined, or a sunken appearance in areas once characterized by fullness. Our busy lives, restrictive budgets, and fear of the unknown are the most common reasons people choose to ignore these unwanted changes, despite a deep-down desire to look better.

Dr. Daines devotes his time, focus, and expertise to delivering innovative solutions for patients who want affordable, safe, and effective anti-aging techniques without the extended downtime and recovery traditionally associated with cosmetic surgery. With a background firmly rooted in understanding and reversing the facial aging process, Dr. Daines can help you choose a sensible rejuvenation strategy that fits your lifestyle. His philosophy incorporates a balanced approach to facial enhancement that addresses the three fundamental components of aging: the health of the skin, soft tissue laxity, and volume loss.

Procedure Details

A midface lift is performed under twilight or general anesthesia. The length of the surgery will depend on whether it is done alone or in conjunction with other procedures. Small incisions are made above the temples in the hairline, where post-operative scarring will be nearly invisible. Soft tissues underneath the skin’s surface are raised, providing a more youthful facial profile. The incisions are closed with sutures or surgical clips that are removed in a week. A dressing is usually left in place for the first 48 hours.

Swelling and bruising after a midface lift typically peak by one week and begin to subside after that point. The incisions will heal and become inconspicuous fine lines located within the hairline. Most patients return to work after 1-2 weeks, at which time they can also resume light physical activity.
