Sculptra is an injectable treatment composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that works deep within the skin to stimulate collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers that deliver immediate volume, Sculptra gradually enhances facial contours over time by encouraging your body to rebuild its supportive structure.
This slow, natural process makes Sculptra ideal for patients seeking gradual improvement. It’s particularly effective for restoring volume in areas such as the cheeks, temples, jawline, and around the mouth, where fat and collagen loss contribute to a hollowed or aged appearance.

Dr. Daines has a unique level of experience with Sculptra that sets him apart. During his fellowship in New York, he participated in an FDA-approved study examining the effects of Sculptra in restoring midface volume. His findings were published in the prestigious JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery journal, reinforcing his commitment to advancing nonsurgical facial rejuvenation.
Today, Dr. Daines applies that research-backed knowledge to create individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals. He may combine Sculptra with other volumizing treatments, such as JUVÉDERM®, Radiesse®, and fat transfer. These products differ in composition, longevity, and cosmetic indications.

Your Sculptra treatment begins with a consultation to assess volume loss and identify the areas that will benefit most from collagen stimulation. Dr. Daines will design a personalized injection plan, often involving a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
Each session takes about 30 to 45 minutes. You may experience mild swelling or bruising at the injection sites, but downtime is minimal, and you can return to most activities immediately.
Because Sculptra works by stimulating collagen, results develop over several weeks. You’ll gradually notice fuller, smoother skin with improved definition and structure. With proper treatment and maintenance, Sculptra’s effects can last up to 2 years, making it one of the longest-lasting nonsurgical options available.
You’ll find very few aesthetic practices that combine the expertise of our injectors with an environment that immediately feels relaxed and welcoming. Our patients not only love their results, but they also love how they’re treated when they visit our boutique office.
We proudly serve patients from Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and surrounding Orange County communities looking for subtle, natural-looking facial rejuvenation.
