What Is JUVÉDERM?
(HA), a substance naturally found in the skin and joints that helps retain moisture and keep tissues smooth and supple. As natural HA levels decline with age, JUVÉDERM’s HA-based gel restores hydration in targeted areas, effectively smoothing away wrinkles and enhancing facial contours.
Results typically last 6 to 12 months, and treatments are primarily used to improve:
- Lines that extend from the nose to the mouth (nasolabial folds)
- Small vertical creases in the outer corners of the mouth (smile lines)

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® XC: Formulated with a balance of gel firmness and low cohesivity, VOLLURE adds subtle volume to deep facial folds. It is firm enough to hold its shape but malleable enough to move with your face, making the results noticeable yet natural-looking. VOLLURE is formulated with JUVÉDERM’s proprietary technology, blending varying molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, which enables it to last up to 18 months.
JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC: VOLBELLA is formulated for lip enhancement and softening the wrinkles around the mouth. The gel particles in VOLBELLA are smaller, so they create more understated results than fillers that produce a puffy, overfilled appearance. The softer, more supple consistency of VOLBELLA mimics the feel of your natural lips, making this filler a top choice among plastic surgeons and patients.

Recovery & Results
JUVÉDERM injections involve minimal discomfort and require little to no downtime, meaning you can immediately return to work and other activities. Temporary side effects, such as redness, tenderness, mild swelling, bruising, and firmness at the injection site, may occur. These side effects typically fade within a few days to a week. For safety, inform your injector of any allergies, medical conditions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before treatment.
