Dr. Daines Did my Hands - Newport Beach, CA Dr. Daines did my hands, and I truly feel it made a huge difference in my appearance. It made my hands plump instead of bony with lots of veins. I now notice what a younger person's hands look like and it has made me feel so confident. I would recommend Dr. Daines for hand rejuvenation. He also has done my Botox and other fillers and did a beautiful job.
No More Double Chin!!! Newport Beach, CA I wanted something non invasive to improve the area under my chin and thought I was too young for surgery being that I'm only 30. My concern started because I never liked the way I looked in photos. I was super excited when I heard there was an alternative so I scheduled an appointment to meet with Dr. Daines. Also, I am not a huge fan of surgery or pain and was too scared to do anything else. He used numbing cream to take the edge off and was super gentle. The thought of all the injections scared me but he reassured me that he uses a super tiny needle. I pretty much prepared for the worst but before I even had time to get all worked up, it was over! The next day I was really swollen and the area was tender when I iced it...Day 3 still swollen but it is starting to go down some. Area is still tender but its tolerable. Week 3 I called the office because I had super tiny lumps on the underneath of the skin on my throat but they assured me it was normal and that it would go away. I had to go to my friends birthday party so I just wore a scarf lol! Now that the swelling is almost all gone, and the bumps are gone, I am really happy. I will probably go in for another treatment in two weeks and will update my post with photos........ OK so I did the second injection and here are my before and after photos. I am so happy with the result and I look much better in photos with only one chin. The second time around was a breeze, any tenderness or swelling seemed to be minimal and gone even sooner. The Ultimate Rejuvenation Experience - Newport Beach, CA I met with Dr.Daines for lip enhancement, botox to get a brow lift and a regiment to help with my skin complexion. After going through an extensive consult, he addressed all of my concerns and explained what he recommend. My lip enhancement looked very natural and I was more than pleased with my results! I continue to see him every 3 months for my Botox and a chemical peel.
I love Dr. Daines!! I came to him in the summer wanting a rhinoplasty and a turbinate surgery. He knew exactly what I wanted my nose to look like without my having to tell him. He took several pictures and was very communicative about how he would perform my chin augmentation that I had wanted for several years. He used good judgement during the operation and I couldn't be happier with the result!
No More Tired Looking Eyes - Newport Beach, CA I've been searching for a doctor who can inject fillers without overfilling, bruising, giving you that fake overdone look and breaking the bank. Plus someone who can inject Botox and make both my eyebrows look even. I been to so many doctors all over LA and Orange County from Plastic Surgeons to Dermatologist and I have finally found the right doctor! I had Dr Daines put fillers under my eyes to fill in the hollow areas which also conceal the bags and fillers in both my temples. Plus as a freebie he fixed my eyebrows (one was lower than the other due to my last injection of Botox from a different doctor). Now my eyebrows are perfectly even something no doctor has ever been able to do with me because I have a very strong muscle above my left eye and no one could inject the right amount of Botox into the right places. My eyes look great now!! My under eye bags are gone and the fillers put into my temples gave a little lift to the outer corners of my eyes. No bruising and the technique he uses to inject the filler into the temples hide any injection marks plus bypasses any issues of injuring the large veins in this area. I have never written a review on any doctor but I highly recommend Dr Daines. He is caring, really listens to your wants, and pays special attention to your facial movements so he can individualize a treatment plan just for you. I believe that's how he is able to achieve such a natural result. He's double board certified which is a huge plus for me and he does all the injections himself not a PA or a nurse in the office. I will never let another doctor touch my face. I have to drive over an hour each direction but since I want perfection it is well worth it! Now when I go to the makeup counters I get all kinds of compliments about how young I look and these are from much younger women. Thank you Dr. Daines.
Excellent Work - Very Happy with Results. Newport Beach, CA Dr Daines did a wonderful job with my eye surgery (lower blepharoplasty). I could not be more happy with the results! I look 10 years younger! Dr Daines is very friendly and easy to talk to. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and find out what they really want. He strives to produce natural results and recommends avoiding the "overdone" look. Price-wise, I feel what I got was worth more than what I paid - very reasonable for the great job he did. He called me back the same day to check on me after surgery and his nurse also made a couple of follow up calls after that. The surgery center was comfortable and well organized. I found the entire staff at the office to be extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, as well. I highly recommend Dr Daines for any cosmetic procedure - you will not be disappointed!
Worth Doing Again!!! - Newport Beach, CA So my first Rhinoplasty was a disaster!!!!! I was boched. For 5 years I've been looking for someone to fix it. Finally, I found Dr. Daines. First, let me say you do not want to let just anyone fix your nose. Talk to several Drs. and make sure they are Facial Plastic Surgeons (Double board certified. Not really sure what that all means, but look for "Board Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery"). Second, don't go to the cheapest surgeon. It's not worth it! It's your face! Third, visit Dr. Daines. He is a gifted surgeon and was able to fix my messed up nose. He is realistic, treats you like an equal and really cares about his patients. I have met with many so called plastic surgeons and they are definatly not Dr. Daines. I am not posting any pictures, because I just moved and want a new start to my life as a boched nose job. I'm so happy with my results and the pain was minimal compared to the first time.
60 Year Old Woman Who Wants to Look As Young As I Feel - Newport Beach, CA I never thought I would be the type of person to get a facelift. I always considered myself attractive but did not dwell on my appearance. I raised three kids and recently became a grandmother. One day last year I was at the hair salon and looked at myself in the mirror -- I hardly recognized the woman looking back at me. My jowls and neck looked like they belonged on my grandmother. I began researching plastic surgery on the internet. I decided I needed a face and neck lift. I really didn't know which surgeon to go to and was embarrassed to ask. Fortunately one of my friends had seen Dr. Daines for surgery on her eyelids and told me about him. She said he makes you feel at home and spends time discussing your options. When I went home, my husband had a lot of questions for me that I couldn't answer, so Dr. Daines made time to see me back with my husband to review the plan and go over the details of surgery and after care. Surgery was what I expected. I was swollen for a week or so and don't remember ever seeing a bruise. He did a face and neck lift along with an upper eyelid lift and fat transfer to my cheeks. I am now 3 months out from surgery and am so pleased with my decision to have surgery with Dr. Daines. I honestly don't think I could have trusted anyone else to guide me through this process. His staff was wonderful and helped me every step of the way.
39 Year Old Television Producer Who Works Around All the "Beautiful" People - Newport Beach, CA I do my best to take care of myself but I work in an industry where how you looks makes a huge difference--even if you are behind the camera. Botox was a simple, easy way to do something for myself. Five days after I had it done, one of my photographers walked up and said, "Wow, you look refreshed!" Perfect! That's what I was going for. I don't look fake, plastic or unnatural. I look refreshed. There was no pain (Dr. Daines had me put an ice pack on the area for a couple of minutes) and I was done in minutes. Getting my ears pierced hurt more! I noticed the difference when I put on my eye makeup and I didn't have to 'lift up my eyebrow/lid' to put it on. I am so glad I took the plunge and had Botox done.
